2 YEAR NAIT PT PROGRAM
AT THE HEART OF CAMROSE FITNESS
Hi, I’m Roxy Claude—a graduate of NAIT’s School of Health Sciences, where I earned my 2-year accreditation in Personal Fitness Training. I’m also proud to be a Certified Personal Trainer with the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology (CSEP-CPT), a Corrective Exercise Specialist through the National Academy of Sports Medicine, and trained in both Functional Range Conditioning (FRC) and Diastasis Done Differently.

Before stepping into the world of fitness full-time, I served as a primary care paramedic and firefighter in rural Alberta for nearly seven years. That experience shaped how I see the human body—not just as a machine to push harder, but as a vessel that requires care, resilience, and respect. My medical background laid the foundation for a training style rooted in anatomy, function, and ongoing research.

I’ve always had a passion for movement—whether it’s mountain climbing, kayaking, or hiking, being active has been a core part of my life. I’m also a published author and a lifelong learner, especially when it comes to exploring the deep connection between body and mind.

My approach to fitness is about more than just sets and reps. It’s about reconnecting with your body, feeling stronger in your everyday life, and learning how to move in ways that feel good and sustainable.

My personal mantra?
“The body and the mind are connected. Take care of the vessel that houses your soul.”

Let’s work together to build strength—not just physically, but mentally and emotionally, too.
